Yes, changing your air filter at least once every six months will not only help you save on your monthly bills, but will also help extend the life of your system. Changing your filter every three months is even better.

Install a programmable thermostat which enables you to control your home’s temperature when you are out of the house or asleep. Perform an annually scheduled maintenance and replace the air filters frequently. The best thing you can do is to upgrade to a high-efficiency system.
